Aimee Whitcroft from the Science Media Centre in Wellington will talk about the ways that scientists and the media interact, in a New Zealand context. She will discuss some good and bad examples and outline some initiatives to improve the communication of science by the media within New Zealand.

Tauranga Continuing Education Group

The Tauranga Continuing Education Group is one of several such groups in Waikato/Bay of Pleny affiliated to the University of Waikato, Hamilton. Each year they organize in Tauranga, a series of lectures with a wide range of topics and speakers.
